3. Delta Children LX Side by Side
This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for an affordable second stroller for their travels. It was awarded an impressive score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and size folded that means it's light, compact when folded and easy to move into a trunk of a car or closet. It also comes with a multi-position reclining seat and a parent cup holder. Other key features include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels and two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.
In our test of the push and turn it performed better than most of the other cheap strollers we tested, but it's still not the most maneuverable over uneven ground or through narrow doorways. Its sunshades are among the most compact we tested, with only direct overhead coverage and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have significantly larger canopies.
It took us just under three minutes to put together the Delta with a manual. None of the parts required tools. However, it's missing certain essential features we believe you should consider non-negotiable in a double stroller like a large basket and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.
